Choco -Late De Batirol
A trip to Baguio wouldn’t be complete if you haven’t tried their tsokolate batirol. It’s bittersweet, thick, and hot. Made from cocoa beans, one may find it not their cup of tea. Like my friends who came with me as I visited the place, they said that it was a waste of money, considering the price of a cup (which is 90.00 btw) They said it was too bitter, and the texture sucked. Well for me, it has a nutty sweet taste with a slingt tinge of bitterness at the end, the texture is what you’ll expect it to be from ground up beans.
Their suman sa lihia (ala carte costs 64.00) is also a must try, it is just so divine as you take a bite of the suman and wash it down with a sip of tsokolate. Plus their bibingka is super fluffy and unlike what you usually have here in Manila, their bibingka has a very distinct taste, not burned, not too sweet, but just right.
Their merienda set costs, 460.00 (good for 4 or 7 in our case)
